Important: PM/RM Approval Required
It has been noticed that some employees are applying for leave on the portal without getting approval from their Project Manager (PM) or Reporting Manager (RM) first.
As per the handbook, PM/RM approval is mandatory before applying any leave on the portal.
Why PM/RM approval is required
- ✓ The PM needs to make sure project work and timelines are not affected.
- ✓ It helps plan work, assign backups, and manage team availability.
- ✓ It avoids multiple team members taking leave at the same time.
- ✓ The portal is meant to record approved leaves, not to seek approval.
- ✓ Following the correct process keeps records clear and accurate.
What not to do
- ✗ Do not apply for leave on the portal before getting PM/RM approval.
- ✗ Do not assume leave is approved just because it is informed to PM/RM.
- ✗ Do not mark leave without informing your PM/RM in advance.
- ✗ Do not use the portal as a substitute for approval.
In case of emergencies, inform your PM/RM first and update the portal after approval.
